Jacob is an Architect from Pillai College of Architecture. Since joining he has assigned projects that need minute detailing. Jacob is a great artist. His concepts take its first form by the way of sketches. He has formed a great working relationship with his colleagues and is constantly striving for improvement. Jacob is currently working on temple projects that demand a great deal of historic and religious knowledge to develop design and details that fit in the modern fabric. Jacob loves machines on four wheels. Over the past many years of his student and professional life he has developed my designs and sketches of automobiles. Football also is and integral part

Raza

Raza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He is actively involved in many projects in the studio. Currently his main focus is on designing a ‘Wedding Destination Campus’. The design of this campus is modern yet draws the detailing and intricacies of the rich ‘Rajasthani Architecture’ of India.
Raza believes that ‘Effective design should resonate with its intended audience – in other words, any creative works should strike a harmonious and unexpected chord to delight the audience. Design that resonates can only be the natural conclusion of a process that starts with listening and learning – about people, behaviors and the world in which we live.’ Raza loves swimming, adventure, trekking and travelling. He is extremely possessive about his sleep and music. Lunch times with him and his light humor are most loved by all.

Ummehaani

Ummehaani aka ‘Haani’ is a well-bred and intelligent town girl. In spite of her challenge she has worked hard and is an Arts Graduate from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Haani has the ability to master any telephone and memorize as many numbers which can be an uphill task for anyone else. Her passion for organizing and planning sparked her interest to take on the office managerial role. With her infectious laugh and innocent spirit, she is the lighthearted employee every office needs.

Huzaifa

Huzaifa has a degree in Bachelors of Architecture affiliated with Mumbai University. He has been associated with the firm as an ‘Intern’ and now as ‘Architect’.

Huzaifa immerses himself in each project to create inspiring architecture for users, as well as those experiencing the built environment from afar. He is mainly involved in several institutional and villa projects. His strong analytical background allows him to take a logical approach to design and is willing to take on a challenge. Raj

Taher

Taher studied in Rizvi College of Architecture, Mumbai and simultaneously worked with Team Design since 2016. Since joining he has contributed to several projects, managing both design & execution and now is a Junior Architect with the firm.

He has a strong social conscience & urban interest and has worked on both public and university buildings early in his career. From initial strategy to the finest detail, Taher’s rigorous approach makes him a true asset to the team. He forms great working relationships with clients and contractors, collaboratively steering the design and construction process to deliver a nuanced, finely detailed and resolved architecture.

His current thesis project focuses on a Rehabilitation & Education Centre for less fortunate and orthodox Indian widows, teaching them subjects of their interest, honing their skills and weaving them back into the urban fabric, giving them a second chance in life.

Outside of work, Taher is an architectural photographer, a weekend footballer, an artist and a movie maker who brings this appreciation to his work. He believes that, “I am good when solo, but great with a team”

Ankita

Ankita has a degree in Bachelor’s of Architecture affiliated with Mumbai University. She has been working since 2017 and has earned an important place within the firm. Punctuality and perseverance are her strong qualities.

Yusuf

After earning his Bachelors in Architecture and joining Team Design in 2017, Yusuf has ascended quickly, thanks to his tremendous contributions to the studio. His energy knows no bounds. He actively leads numerous projects and more than willing to take up any challenge. He also maintains a solid focus on the bigger picture for our growing firm as designated lead on several projects. Highly skilled in conceptual design, public approvals, statutory approvals, contract documentation and construction administration, Yusuf is dedicated to on-time delivery.

Since joining, Yusuf has worked on architectural projects for MSB School, ITM College Campuses a few bungalow projects and also worked on interior projects for different government corporate offices.

Ali

Ali is a Post Graduate in Polymer Sciences from The University of Pune has over 10 years’ experience in field of construction and project management. Ali is a skilled project manager with a keen eye for detail and connectivity. He excels at creating and collaborating with all members of the design team to always improve the project on many levels.

His work domain? Following up the technical details, the analyses, the offers and the budgets. These range from specifications, measurements, price requests, analyses and site supervision … to final acceptance. He makes sure that the project continues to bear fruit long after the move or renovation is complete. He guarantees feasible strategies and designs that can be effectively implemented and that are manageable, within budget and that continue to perform in the longer term.

Hussain

Hussain has degree in Bachelor of Architecture from Rizvi College of Architecture, Mumbai and experience with the firm that spans almost nine years. He has climbed the ladder from being an Intern and now a Senior Architect because of his dedication and passion. Hussain has extensive experience of leading design teams and managing the delivery of projects at all stages, across a wide range of scales and building types. Known for his ability to lead complex projects from concept to reality, he has developed a reputation for working closely with his clients to generate design solutions that are responsive, sustainable and pragmatic.

Hussain has always been a lover of the Indian rural fabric. Back in college days, Hussain’s thesis topic was, ‘Reintegration of *Devdasi Women in Indian Society’. It was a challenging topic to research and design but with months of hard work Hussain received immense appreciation during his final presentation in front of the jury.

Hussain is a calm and adventurous at the same time. Road trips, treks and adventure sports are a second part of his being. Besides meeting deadlines at work, he loves to harvest his own home grown organic vegetables. He is always deeply concerned about his carbon footprint and cycles to work every day.

Zakir is a graduate of architecture from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. He has over 25 years’ experience in the design & construction field and brings a unique design perspective to the firm.

Zakir believes in the constant improvement of everything. He brings to the table a tenacious focus on creative design through every stage of every project. Complexities and limitations are not allowed to impact a project negatively, and the search for design opportunities is perpetual. Inside the studio, he constantly evaluates roles and responsibilities, adjusting them to solve problems and match the strengths and desires of every individual. Zainab

Zainab aka Xen has passed out with ‘Honors’ from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai in the year 2004. She is a registered architect in the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, India.

Xen – together with Tasadduq– drives the design direction of the practice and is evolving to create sustainable and thought-provoking architecture for the future. Her intellectually rigorous approach to the analysis and interpretation of a client brief and site informs the process and form of architecture to create functional, flexible and elegant buildings and spaces. Xen believes what Laurie Baker quoted, “Manners maketh the man. I think they also make good architecture” Her eye for detail has brought innovative, rational and clear design leadership to the practice.

Xen has been awarded for one of her projects by Architect & Interiors India magazine in 2016 as one of India’s top 50 architects under the age of 35. The award was handed over to her by India’s leading architect Mr. Hafeez Contractor.

Besides her interest in her work, she is an artist, singer and believes in living life on her own terms. Her dream is to travel the world twice over in a single lifetime.

Tasadduq

Tasadduq founded the practice in 1996. In slightly over two decades and after a lot of struggle and hard work he has established a sustainable approach to the design of the built environment. He began his career with Architect P K Das and till today considers him as is mentor and guide. Tasadduq has also been a visiting professor in Academy of Architecture, Mumbai for almost a decade.

He believes that the quality of our surroundings affects the quality of our lives, and is driven by his passion for innovation and excellence. He is a vivid architectural storyteller with a passion for world history and is a great advocate for architecture that responds to this history, the landscape and sense of place. He pretty much follows what Richard Rogers says, “Architecture is too complex to be solved by any one person. Collaboration lies at the heart of all my work. I enjoy the dynamic that flows when different disciplines, from sociology to mathematics, engineering to philosophy, come together to create solutions.
